	First and foremost requirement for a good casting is a good pattern and core. Using various types of contact and contact less methods of measurement available with us, the geometry of both the pattern and core can be verified and checked according to the CAD model or drawing available.

Mould and Die Inspection
Moulds and Dies are the heart of casting and forging industries and thus Inspection of Dies and Moulds is a major job in such companies. Moulds and Dies can be converted into CAD files using 3D Scanners. The CAD file so generated can be used for finding the wear and tear present on the Die/Mould.

Assuring Sufficient Excess Material Finding out the Excess Material available on the casted component and ensuring that sufficient excess material is available all over the component for machining purposes. Using software developed by Metronor, Norway sufficient excess material is ensured all over the component. Using the same software the component can also be setup on the machine for efficient machining
